During your apprenticeship as an IT specialist for application development (m/f/d), you can expect an exciting mix of software development and IT project work:

• Software development: Development, testing, and implementation of customized software solutions
• Programming: Working with modern programming languages such as Python, C#, Java, or SQL
• Database management: Design and maintenance of database systems
• Requirements analysis: Identification and implementation of technical requirements from customers and internal departments
• Collaboration in IT projects: From planning and development to go-live
• Error analysis and optimization: Identification and resolution of software problems and improvement of existing applications

You will be integrated into real projects at an early stage to gain practical experience and gain insights into the work of a software developer.

You should have the following skills

• Good school-leaving qualifications (at least a technical college entrance qualification or (technical) high school diploma)
• Strong interest in IT systems, digitalization, and commercial processes Initial experience with hardware, standard software, or IT systems is an advantage but not a requirement
• Analytical thinking skills
• Strong communication skills and enjoyment of explaining technical solutions to customers and colleagues in an understandable way
• Organizational talent, team spirit, and initiative
• Very good German and at least good English skills
